The Caswell Council for the Arts is pleased to announce our 39th Juried Art Show. We are currently seeking entrants: adult artists (18 and older) through North Carolina and Virginia are invited to enter the show.
Awards:
The show will be juried by artist Mary Ann Zotto. The following awards will be made:
Best in show (1st place): $350 plus the opportunity to exhibit in a solo show or group show in our 2020 season (winner's choice).
Second Place: $250
Third Place: $150
Best Piece by a Caswell County Native or Resident: $100
Entries are limited to traditional two-dimensional work. Photography is not accepted for this show. Any digital art submissions must be completely original or significantly enhanced, altered, and/or manipulated beyond the scope of a photographic image.
Entry Fee:
Current members of the Caswell Council for the Arts: $20 per artists for a maximum of two pieces submitted.
Non-members: $30 per artist for a maximum of two pieces submitted.
Payment may be made online or via cash, check, or credit card upon delivery of work.
All submissions must be physically delivered to the Caswell Council for the Arts, 43 W. Main Street in Yanceyville, NC 27379 on August 27th 10-7pm, 28th , or 29th 10am - 3PM
OR
shipped in a reusable container with pre-paid shipping costs to and from CCFTA, PO Box 689, Yanceyville, NC to arrive by:
3 PM Thursday, August 29th
A reception featuring all works accepted into the show will take place on Sunday, Sept. 8th from 2-4pm. Awards presentation will begin at 2:30
All accepted works will remain on exhibit until October 22nd. Any works not accepted for exhibition may be picked up on September 3rd , September 4th, or September 5th from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (or by appointment)
